ROW, Leslie ROW 1943 – 2024 MR. LESLIE ROW, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Karen Row, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the age of 80 years, after a life-altering fall.
Besides his loving wife, Karen, Leslie is survived by his daughter Cindy Rath (Randy Bobinec) of Lethbridge, as well as his granddaughter Kaylen Epp (Sheldon), great-grandson (Jaxson) and grandson Brayden Rath; and his son Arden Row (Sandra Wirsch) of Lethbridge, granddaughter Delaina Erker (Dan) and twin great-grandsons (Matthew and Logan) of Medicine Hat. He is also survived by his sister Deanna Vainio of Victoria, BC, and brother Ron Row (Norma) of Leduc, AB, and their families.
He was predeceased by his father Andrew Row, mother Lillian Row, brother, Edwin Row, sister-in-law Barbara Row, sister Elaine Kraemer and brother-in-law Ray Vainio.
Leslie was raised on the family farm and had happy memories of those years. Later on in life, he worked for many years as a Journeyman Plumber & Gasfitter and was proud of that occupation, yet, what he really loved was farming, and he succeeded at doing both very successfully. He was such a hard-working man and has passed his work ethic and many of his best traits onto his children and grandchildren.
The week before his accident, Leslie and his son Arden harvested a wonderful crop off the land that he loved so much. We are thankful for that last time he got to be in a place that was so special to him, on his farm.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff on 4C at the Chinook Regional Hospital, for the care and attention provided to him; it is greatly appreciated by us all.
At Leslie’s request, no funeral service will be held. Cremation has been entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
