MAK, Shiu-Man “Simon” MAK Shiu-Man (Simon) Mak, beloved husband of Karina Mak, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13th in Lethbridge, AB.
He is survived by his two daughters, Felicia (Josh) Phillips, Amanda (Alex) Solomatin, and three beautiful grandchildren.

Mary J. Kleinsasser, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the age of 87 years.

BOHNET, George George Bohnet September 6, 1935 ~ December 22, 2024 George Edward Bohnet, loving husband of Rosemarie, passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the age of 89 years. Along with Rosemarie, left to remember George are his sons, Kim (Marlene) Bohnet and Troy Bohnet (Jennifer); step-daughter, Sharla Nelson; six grandchildren; great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephew and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Clara; sons, Ivan and Elli; grandsons, Curtis and Luke; sister, Irene (Edwin) Stock and by his brother, Jim Bohnet.
George was raised on the family homestead near Elkwater, where he developed a strong work ethic and love for rural life. A natural talent in the rodeo circuit, he was crowned the Canadian Amateur Calf Roping Champion in 1967, a title he wore with pride. Before moving to Walsh, George spent time working on feedlots, which showcased his dedication to livestock. He later transitioned to work on pipelines and eventually rounded off his working years as a grader operator for Warner County, where he worked until his retirement.
George married Rosemarie on May 18, 2014, a union that brought him immense joy and companionship. Music was a cornerstone of George’s life he was a talented musician who could play the accordion, guitar, and banjo. He loved jam sessions with friends and family, where his melodies created lasting memories. His love for dancing and his cheerful spirit made him a joy to be around.
George’s character was truly one of a kind. Known for his quick wit and upbeat nature, he had a talent for making people laugh and bringing happiness to those around him. He had a great sense of humor and a passion for fishing, finding peace and fulfillment by the water.
A life well-lived, George will be remembered for his vibrant personality, endless talent, and deep connections to the land and the people he cherished. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love and laughter he brought to this world.
A Celebration of George’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 321 Main Street N.W., Milk River, Alberta on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting http://www.cooksouthland.com) Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. GREENE, Clark GREENE On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, CLARK EDWARD GREENE, of Lethbridge, died, with his suffering finally coming to an end, at Edith Cavell Care Centre at the age of 87 years, following a difficult battle with cancer and paralysis.
A Celebration of Clark’s life will be held at McKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 – 15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Trevor Potter officiating. The Celebration of Life will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Clark’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.

ARMSTRONG, David ARMSTRONG It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of DAVID BAZIL ARMSTRONG, beloved husband of the late Anna Jean Armstrong.
Dave was a loving father to David (Rita) Armstong (Brad and Mike and families), Lori (Allen) Beazer, Fur baby Kayta Grandpa to Dylen Beazer and Falynn Beazer (Ryan). Great Grandpa to Brysen, Lyla and Hayven. He is also survived by his brother Ross (Bev) Armstrong and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Anna Jean Armstrong, sister Carol Zetalney, and parents Bazil and Gertrude Armstrong.
Dave was born on July 14, 1941 in Stettler, Alberta. Dave met Jean on a blind date in 1959 and married on May 4, 1963.
Dave worked for the department of highways. They moved south where Dave ran the Chin and Cranford general stores. He also enjoyed driving the school bus in the Readymade area and ended his working years as a ditch rider for the S.M.R.I.D. Dave and Jean moved to Coaldale in 1968 where they raised their children.
Dave had the gift of gab and would strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved bushing for coffee, playing cards and traveling. He was a member of the Coaldale and Taber Kinsmen clubs for many years.
Dave moved to the Sunny South Lodge for his final years where he treated the staff to daily candy tips.
Dave had many friends and acquaintances over the years which made for many stories and laughs, he will be missed by all he met.
A private Interment will be held.
 Those who wish to celebrate the life of Dave may do so on January 4, 2025 from 11:00 till 3:00 P.M. at 1401 Scenic Drive South.

JENSEN, David JENSEN DAVID WILLIAM JENSEN, beloved husband of Danielle Jensen of Lethbridge passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 36 years.
David will be laid to rest during a private family Interment at Royal View Cemetery.

WALKER, Linda LINDA P. WALKER 1946 – 2024 On December 22, 2024, LINDA P. WALKER, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away after a brief battle with illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 78 years. She will be greatly missed.
Linda was born on May 22, 1946 in Saint John, New Brunswick, as the youngest daughter of seven children. Linda attended school in New Brunswick and Connecticut, USA. After completing school, Linda travelled to Kenya, Africa as a missionary. Linda moved to Calgary in the late 1960’s and worked in various fields during her life; she worked as a Stenographer, Office Administrative Assistant, Educational Assistant for children with special needs, and in Health Care Records.
Linda leaves to mourn: her husband Gerald of 53 years; children Jennifer (Rob) and Vince (Kari); grandchildren Kasey and Ben; her sister Judy (Sonny); and brothers Vince (Prue) and Andy (Mary). As well as numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Vince and Willa, as well as her sisters Rose-Marie, Wanda, and Shirley.
Linda was a kind, sweet soul who was always there to offer a hug, a shoulder to cry on, or words of support when needed. She loved her family and made sure everyone was well taken care of. Words can not express the love and gratitude we have for her, and how much she means to us. We will miss her every day, but find some comfort in our countless fond memories of her.
At Linda’s request, there will be no Funeral Service.
