Minority of Proline bettors saw Texans earning playoff victory

The majority of Proline players didn’t see the Houston Texans winning their NFL playoff game.

Houston upset the Los Angeles Chargers 32-12 in NFL wildcard action Saturdsay. According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., just 22 per cent of bettors correctly picked the Texans to win the game while just 15 per cent had them +2.5 on the point spread.

However, 76 per cent correctly picked the over 41.5 points.

Also on Saturday, the Baltimore Ravens dispatched the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-14. A solid 83 per cent of players took Baltimore to win while 63 per cent picked the squad -8.5 on the point spread.

Baltimore’s Derrick Henry was the most popular anytime touchdown scorer. He had an eight-yard rushing TD in the second quarter before adding another later in the contest.

On Sunday, the Buffalo Bills earned a 31-7 victory over the Denver Broncos. That result was music to the ears of most Proline players as 89 per cent correctly picked the Bills to win while 75 per cent had them -7.5 on the point spread.

Buffalo was the most bet on team to cover the spread in wild-card playoff action.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen was the most popular player prop at over 39.5 rushing yards. He ran for 46 yards in the game.

In other playoff action, the Philadelphia Eagles downed the Green Bay Packers 22-10. Seventy-seven per cent of players correctly picked the Eagles t win while 70 per cent had them -5.5 on the point spread.

Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley was the most popular player prop at over 98.5 rushing yards. He had 119 yards in the game but didn’t score a touchdown, which left Barkley anytime TD scorer bettors hanging.

Zane Gonzalez’s 37-yard field goal _ which bounced in off the upright _ earned the Washington Commanders a dramatic 23-20 playoff win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Fifty-four per cent of players liked the Commanders to win the game.

The most popular player prod was Tampa Bay’s Baker Mayfield over 1.5 passing TDs. He threw his second to Bucky Irving in the third.

And 76 per cent of bettors correctly selected no in the “Will there be a missed field goal,” market.

On Monday night the Los Angeles Rams downed the Minnesota Vikings 27-9. Just 43 per cent of bettors picked the Rams to win while 32 per cent had them +2.5 on the point spread.

And only 29 per cent of players correctly took the under 46.5 points.
