The Lethbridge Hurricanes extended their winning streak to six games after a 4-2 win in Wenatchee against the Wild on Friday night.
The Wild opened the scoring in the game as Miles Cooper scored his 16th of the season from Tyler Russell and Brendan Dunphy with just over two minutes to go in the first period.
Leo Braillard tied the game for the Canes 1:39 into the second period with his 15th goal of the season from Brayden Yager and Caden Price.
Braillard gave the Canes a 2-1 lead with a powerplay goal at the 8:29 mark of the second period from Yager and Noah Chadwick.
The Wild’s Grant Reid tied the game over four minutes later from Shaun Rios and Lukas McCloskey.
Brayden Edwards gave Lethbridge their second one-goal lead of the game at the 17:09 mark of the second with his 17th goal of the season from Chadwick and Logan Wormald.
Wormald added an insurance goal at 18:23 of the third period from Edwards and Cameron Norrie to preserve the win for the Canes.
Lethbridge outshot Wenatchee 24-20 in the contest.
The Canes went 0-for-2 on the powerplay and a perfect 2-for-2 on the penalty kill.
Lethbridge (25-14-1-1) will look to go undefeated on the five-game road trip when they conclude it tonight against the Spokane Chiefs tonight (29-14-0-0).
