The Toronto International Film Festival and Four Seasons founder Isadore Sharp will be inducted into Canada’s Walk of Fame this year.
Walk of Fame CEO Jeffrey Latimer said in a statement that the legacies of both TIFF and Sharp have “enriched lives” and expanded Canada’s global reputation.
They will join previously announced 2025 inductees, including rock band Our Lady Peace and golf star Mike Weir.
The Walk of Fame, which honours notable Canadians for their exceptional achievements, will celebrate inductees with an awards show in Toronto on June 14.
Organizers have promised “a reimagined experience” for attendees.
Other inductees this year include actor Tonya Williams, guitarist Liona Boyd, medical pioneer Dr. Tirone David and War Child Canada founder Dr. Samantha Nutt.
Additional names and plans for public events will be announced later this year.
