Coaldale Christian boys post home win

The Deep South Basketball Conference hit the court for opening week.

In varsity boys play Wednesday at Coaldale Christian, Coaldale posted a 71-52 victory over the Immanuel Christian Eagles.

Micah Visser and Noah VanderHeiden each had 20 points for Coaldale Christian and Asher Slomp added 16.

Donovan Kreft paced the Eagles with 13 points. Rylen Veldman and Greyson Turner added 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Immanuel Christian.

In junior varsity action, the Eagles earned a 62-48 win as Aiden DeLeeuw hit for 16 points and Turner added 15. Joe Boone chipped in with 12 points in the win.

For Coaldale Christian, Blake Bareman had 14 points and Owen Senneker drained 12.
