After a postponed game, the Lethbridge Hurricanes return to their busy schedule this weekend.
The Canes are on the road for three games in as many days and it starts tonight when the Hurricanes head to Calgary to face the Hitmen in Western Hockey League action at 7 p.m.
The Hurricanes then head to Red Deer to take on the Rebels at 7 p.m. before finishing the trek Sunday in Edmonton against the Oil Kings at 4 p.m.
The Hurricanes were slated to play the Saskatoon Blades on Wednesday at the Enmax Centre, but the game was postponed when the Blades were unable to ice a lineup with nine players on the active roster on the WHL COVID-19 protocol list.
The Hurricanes are 14-16-2-1 and in 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
They are one point back of the 15-22-1-1 Prince Albert Raiders and two back of the Swift Current Broncos (14-19-4-1) and Regina Pats (16-17-0-1).
The Hitmen are 16-14-4-2 and in seventh in the East.
The Rebels (25-12-2-1) are in third in the East while the Oil Kings (27-10-2-1) are in second.
The Hurricanes are back home Wednesday when they host the Broncos at 7 p.m.
