The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns women’s basketball team has upped their winning streak to seven games.
The Horns downed the MacEwan Griffins 74-64 in Canada West action Friday night in Edmonton.
The win improves the Pronghorns to 7-4 as the teams complete the weekend series today at 5 p.m.
In Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference play Friday night at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium, the Lethbridge College Kodiaks women’s basketball team were defeated 71-65 by the Calgary St. Mary’s Lightning, snapping their winning streak at nine and falling to 10-2.
In the men’s game, the Kodiaks beat the Lightning 95-64 to move to 10-2.
