A 30-year-old woman who claimed she was only looking for someone when she went to a Lethbridge home early one morning in 2018, found more than she bargained for.
Niomi Good Rider got into a fight with the homeowner, and after she left the house she exacted revenge by smashing the windows of her “cousin’s father’s” truck. From there she walked to another home, banged on the door, waking the residents, and told them she had been assaulted.
While Good Rider was at that home, the person with whom she had the previous altercation, had called the police and she was arrested shortly after.
Good Rider pleaded guilty Thursday in Lethbridge provincial court to one count of mischief causing damage. She was fined $500 and ordered to pay restitution of $1,654 for damages to the truck.
