The aunt of a 10-year-old boy who was tragically killed when hit by a car in a crosswalk earlier this week is hoping the community will support the family prior to a private family service today.

Kara Dyer, aunt of Charles McIntyre, is urging people to line the streets along Coalbanks Gate and Keystone Terrace West today at 12:30 p.m. to support Charles’ family as they make their way to the family service.

People are urged to keep proper social distance due to COVID-19 in this show of support and wear the colour green, Charles’ favourite colour. People are asked to be there by 12:30 p.m.

The vehicles with the family will be identified by green balloons. People are asked to park in the LDS Church parking lot or in the business parking lot across Whoop-Up Drive.
