Two people facing drug and proceeds of crime charges

 Lethbridge Police Service release:
Lethbridge Police have charged a male and female with drug and proceeds of crime offences after a warrant was executed at a south side hotel.
Earlier this month members of the Priority Crimes Unit initiated a short term investigation into reported drug trafficking activity. On May 11, 2020 PCU obtained and executed a search warrant in a hotel room along the 200 block of 41 Street South. One male occupant was arrested without incident and police seized approximately 150 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of fentanyl, 11 grams of crack cocaine, a small quantity of psilocybin, prescription narcotics, assorted drug paraphernalia including scales and packaging, and more than $35,400 cash. The total estimated street value of the drugs is more than $13,500.
In addition, a female subject associated to the room was arrested a day later at a west side home.
Armande John Good Rider, 22, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count each of possession of a controlled substance, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000 and four counts of failing to comply with release order conditions. Good Rider was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court May 14.
Thi Hai Binh Nguyen, 24, of Lethbridge, is charged with possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000. Nguyen was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court July 28.
