LETHBRIDGE HERALD
For post-secondary students who have questions about what will happen in the fall, Lethbridge College is ready with the answers.
The college is launching its webinar Summer Series to provide information to those thinking of starting their post-secondary education at Lethbridge College to allow them the chance to ask any pertinent questions.
The next webinar will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. today. Registration is free and those interested can sign up on Lethbridge College’s website. Those who register but aren’t able to attend will be able to access a recording of the event. Additional webinars will take place on July 6 and 22.
“Our teams have been working hard to ensure we’re ready to support our students in the fall,” says Lindsay Workman, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, in a news release. “This is a chance for those with questions about the upcoming semester to hear directly from our experts and get the answers that will help them make their decisions for the fall. We welcome everyone with questions to join us for these sessions.”
The Summer Series will help potential students learn more about programs and services, will include tips about how to fund their education and will go over the application process.
Lethbridge College will offer all its programs this fall in a flexible learning environment that includes a combination of virtual classes in “real time,” independent activities and experiential learning opportunities that will occur virtually, and in some cases, classes and activities that will take place on campus.
“With the recruitment season cut short due to COVID-19 this year, we are thrilled to have an opportunity to connect with our prospective students,” says Georgi MacInnis, Lethbridge College recruiter. “This is a chance to help them navigate their pathway to Lethbridge College in these unusual times.”
In addition to the webinars, current and future Lethbridge College students can learn more about the Fall 2020 semester by checking out the FAQ page on the Lethbridge College website at lethbridgecollege.ca.
