SOUTHERN ALBERTA ART GALLERY – PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT (YOUTH PROGRAMS)
The Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) fosters the work of contemporary artists who challenge boundaries, encourages
broad public engagement and promotes awareness and exploration of artistic expression. They are looking for volunteers who enjoy working with children in a fun and creative environment. Education Assistants will help the Public Engagement Coordinator with different children’s programs. Tasks for this position also includes providing guidance to the children, making art and playing games. A Police check and references are required. CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY – CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE
The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of staff and volunteers whose mission is the
eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. They are looking for committee
members who will take part in planning and organizing the Run. Committee members will meet and plan virtually over
the next six months so you must have access to and be comfortable with using a computer. In-person availability is needed for the week leading up to Run day and Run day. References are required. BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS – GAMEON MENTOR
Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young
people. They are looking for volunteers who could mentor a digital support group for middle-school boys, specific to
Covid-19 related challenges. Volunteers will be provided with an outline of topics and resources to chat about and fun
online engagement activities to do together. A Police check and references are required. Volunteers must be 18 years of age

MYCITYCARE – GENERAL VOLUNTEERS
MyCityCare is an initiative developed by MyVictory Church to resource the community in areas of food and water, housing,
clothing, healthcare and social justice, to give people a hand up into a hope filled future. MyCityCare is looking for volunteers
to assist in the following areas: clothing-assisting in counting, sorting, and folding clothes; emergency food hampers–assisting with weighing-in food, sorting, and making up hampers; sewing projects–assisting with cutting out patterns, assisting with individuals as needed, and ironing; clothing mobile unit–assisting with their mobile unit by filling the unit and serving people. INTERFAITH FOOD BANK SOCIETY – PICK-ROOM SET UP VOLUNTEERS
Interfaith Food Bank is committed to recognizing the human dignity of those in need and providing food and access to services and resources generated from within our community. They are looking for general volunteers who will sort through bread and produce, sweep and mop pick-room, and set up pick-room ensuring it is properly stocked with designated food items for their clients.
