LETHBRIDGE HERALD
Due to the cancellation of the KidSport Golf Tournament and Leadercast events this year due to COVID-19, KidSport is teaming up with Sysco for a fundraising truckload sale.
The KidSport/Sysco truck sale fundraiser is set for July 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Enmax Centre parking lot.
The fundraiser will provide an opportunity for the public to buy Sysco food products at a great price while raising money for KidSport.
Items for sale include prime rib burgers, AAA sirloin steak, chicken, shrimp and salmon. There will also be great prices for items like bacon, pork chops and ground beef, as well as cakes and cookie dough.
The economic impact of COVID-19 will result in more families than ever needing the KidSport program. With sports playing a crucial role in children’s physical and mental recovery, KidSport is committed to getting kids back to being active and healthy.
Details on products and prices are available at wwwkidsportcanada.ca/alberta/lethbridge-taber/ or on the KidSport Facebook page.
