Bottles benefit local food banks

Since the initial partnership of GPS Container Depot with the Lethbridge Food Bank and Interfaith Food Bank, the food banks have seen tremendous support through bottle donations. With the opening of a new GPS location at 872 Heritage Blvd. W.), the partnership with the local food banks continues to grow.

Food bank officials are encouraging citizens to continue their support by visiting the new GPS Container Depot facility in west Lethbridge and donating the proceeds of their bottle return to the local food banks.

Throughout July and August, a visit to the westside location will provide a chance to win a $500 gift certificate.

Bottles are still accepted at the northside GPS Container location, with a chance to donate to local food banks.
