Dear Readers:

It’s been a wild ride the last few months, we have received feedback from many of you regarding our changes in publication days, etc., and the message was loud and clear. Based on your feedback we will be publishing on Tuesdays but not Mondays beginning Aug. 1.

The confusion on long weekends of no Monday paper and then getting a Tuesday paper when you thought you weren’t was tough for you and for our staff. We were not able to cover and report the Monday city council meetings as effectively as you wanted. The Tuesday paper will now (once again) include full coverage as only we are capable of doing.

Beginning Aug. 1, if your subscription is paid through our Easypay system, your monthly cost will reflect the five-day-a-week delivery price. All other subscriptions will be credited for missed days by adding days to your current subscription.

Thank you for bearing with us in these tough economic times. The vast majority of feedback has been overwhelmingly supportive of the tough decisions we have had to make. We look forward to serving you for many years to come as your most trusted source of news and information.
