Cyclist hurt in collision

LETHBRIDGE
A cyclist was injured and remains in hospital following a collision with a vehicle on Wednesday evening.
Lethbridge Police are investigating the collision which happened at about 7:30 p.m. in the downtown core.
Investigation determined an SUV was travelling west on 4 Avenue South when it struck a cyclist travelling north across 4 Avenue from an alley between 5 and 6 Street South.
The cyclist sustained serious head injuries and was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital. He was later transferred to Calgary.
The cyclist remains in hospital at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
