Part of Metis Trail to be closed

Starting Monday, McNally Contractors will begin deep and shallow services along Metis Trail West, from south of Coalbanks Link to south of Temple Boulevard.
Road closure will occur from Sept. 28 to approximately Nov. 27, weather permitting. Drivers are asked to note that 25 Street West that ties into Metis Trail will be closed during this time but will reopen on Nov. 27 for the winter months.
There will not be access to Metis Trail from Temple Boulevard. Pedestrian pathways will remain open, except for a few days on the east side of Metis Trail when electrical work is required.
Detour signage will be in place to accommodate local traffic within the affected work areas.
