A Calgary man is facing charges after Lethbridge Police Service seized significant quantities of methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine on Wednesday night.
Following a short-term investigation by the Lethbridge Police Priority Crimes Unit, a search warrant was obtained and executed at a southside apartment on Wednesday in the 900 block of 15 Street South. Police seized approximately 148 grams of fentanyl, 132 grams of methamphetamine, 25 grams of crack cocaine, 148 grams of a drug buffing agent and over $14,100 in cash. The combined value of the drugs is just over $40,400.
Samantar Hussein, 29, of Calgary, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of proceeds of crime. Hussein has been held in custody for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing.
