LETHBRIDGE
With warmer-than-usual temperatures expected, some of the City’s most popular picnic shelters will remain available for use until Nov. 1, weather permitting.
Popson and Rotary Picnic shelters can be booked by phone at 403-320-3020 or online at leisure.lethbridge.ca.
Smaller picnic shelters, which include Baroness, Kiwanis and Nicholas Sheran picnic shelters, will be available free of charge for drop-in use as the scheduled seasonal cleaning is now complete.
Elks, John Martin and Henderson picnic shelters are closed until spring as these facilities require earlier winterization, the City said in a news release.
