RCMP charge Piikani man in relation to homicide of Tregan Crow Eagle

RCMP have charged a Piikani man in relation to the homicide of Tregan Crow Eagle earlier this summer.
On July 27 human remains were located on the Piikani Nation. The initial investigation by Piikani Nation RCMP indicated that the death was suspicious and an autopsy deemed the manner of death was a homicide. The identity of the deceased was confirmed to be missing youth Tregan Crow Eagle who was last seen on July 22.
Dustin Big Bull (37) of the Piikani Nation has been charged with second degree murder and causing an indignity to human remains.
After a judicial hearing, Dustin Big Bull has been remanded to appear in Pincher Creek Provincial Court on Oct. 27, 2020.
