Lethbridge police are looking for a vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run where they say a pedestrian was struck at a downtown crosswalk Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a woman was crossing southbound at 3rd Avenue along 3rd Street South when she was struck by a vehicle making a right-hand turn. The vehicle did not remain at the scene, police say.
The woman is said to have been taken to hospital by ambulance with what police describe as significant, but not life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who has information or witnessed the collision is asked to contact police.

It’s always such a zoo downtown just before 1pm when so many are rushing back to work.
Check the McDonald’s cameras.
Why no release of the vehicle information?!
