School bus collision sends one to hospital; no children involved in incident

A collision between a school bus and a semi-truck hauling manure near Magrath  has left one driver in hospital and another slightly injured.
A statement posted on the Westwind School Division Facebook page confirms the school bus was operated by its division, and there were no students on the bus at the time of the accident.
According to the RCMP, The collision occurred just after 7 a.m. on Friday morning.
Westwind confirms its driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, and Raymond/Magrath RCMP confirm the driver of the semi-truck was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the collision occurred at the intersection of Range Road 222 and Township Road 62 about three miles north of Magrath. The school bus was northbound on Township Road 62 when it collided with the semi-truck which was eastbound on Range Road 222.
The Raymond/Magrath RCMP detachment received the call about the accident at 7:28 a.m, but has not laid any charges as yet because the accident is still under investigation.
