Waterton Lakes National Park admission fees are set to increase beginning Feb. 1.
The park says the adjustment brings Waterton Lakes in line with the six other mountain national parks and supports visitor services and conservation programs.
Adjusted daily admission fees will go up to $10 for adults, $8.40 for seniors and $20 for families. Admission for youth 17 and under is free.
Annual passes will go up to $50.08 for adults, $42.62 for seniors and $100.26 for families.Â
The cost for a Discovery Pass, which allows admission to multiple Parks Canada sites, remains unchanged. Both Discovery Passes and Waterton annual passes are available at the park gate or at the visitor centre.
Waterton Park says it will continue to automatically extend passes that were valid during the period between March-June 2020, when the park was closed or had reduced services.
