Suspicious death being investigated

The Lethbridge Police Service is investigating a suspicious death on Monday at an apartment building on the 1200 block of 4 Avenue South.LETHBRIDGE HERALDtkalinowski@lethbridgeherald.com
A scream for help in the night brought the Lethbridge Police Service to a residence on the 1200 block of 4 Avenue South in the early hours of Monday morning.
Lethbridge Police confirmed they found a deceased 65-year-old male at an apartment building after receiving a call out at 1:18 a.m. that someone was crying out for help at the residence.
While not yet officially ruling it a homicide as yet, the LPS is calling the death “suspicious,” and is awaiting word from the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary on cause of death before proceeding further.
The matter has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation Section.
