Youth One is seeking to raise $100,000 in April to help local youth impacted by increased isolation due to COVID-19.
According to the media release by Youth One, the money will help 200 youth have full access to all its services, including mental health supports, for the remainder of the year.
The mental health of all Canadians has suffered since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, including youth here in Lethbridge, states Youth One.
To achieve the $100,000 goal, the organization will be holding an online Stream-athon for its Y1 Spring Fundraiser. The Stream-athon starts today and goes until May 8. There will be four livestream events, one per week, each four hours long.
