City wants feedback on capital projects

The City of Lethbridge is inviting public feedback on various proposed capital projects as city council begins the process of determining where the City will spend its Capital Improvement Program money over the next 10 years.
There are various projects under discussion, including $38 million for arena replacement, $19.8 million for electric buses and charging infrastructure, $27.2 million for Fire Station 3 relocation, $1.7 million for pickleball courts in Galt Gardens, $5.8 million for SAAG modernization, $111 million for a new performing arts centre, and several more.

The page will be open for public feedback until April 28.

So a few years back, the PFA Center was looking to be 78 million. It was being reviewed for cost savings. Now it’s 111 million, 33 million in cost saving. What a sham. Ditch this project.
