LCI and Churchill closed following reports of threats

Lethbridge Police are investigating an additional report of threats involving a second city school after Winston Churchill High School was closed earlier today following  a report of a threat that was received by school administration earlier this Tuesday morning.
The Lethbridge School Division has now also cancelled classes at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute and students have been sent home after threats were brought to the attention of school administrators.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the veracity of the threats and whether there is any connection to an incident at Winston Churchill High School. WCHS was evacuated and all students and staff who were on site are safe.
The school division says no further information will be released at this time.
