City property assessments have been mailed to all residential and commercial property owners in Lethbridge.
In a press release, the City says if notices haven’t been received by Jan. 17, property owners should call 311, or if they’re out of the city, 403-320-3111 to obtain a copy. They can also see and reprint their notices by registering their property at Lethbridge.ca/MyCity.
Property owners who have signed up for eNotices will have received their notice by email at the address registered to their MyCity account.
Because of delays at the provincial land title office, people who have taken possession of a property may not yet be registered on title. Those who are experiencing this situation can contact the City for a copy.
Any owner who has met with an assessor and isn’t satisfied with the assessed value of the property in question can file a formal complaint prior to the appeal deadline.
Questions about assessments can be directed to staff via 311 or by email at assessment@lethbridge.ca

Oh Joy! It ought to be very interesting to compare, given that the realtor evaluated our property shortly after we put our home up for sale in the London Road area.
They won’t take into account the property’s depreciation as a result of the increasing number of crimes committed by homeless people and addiction issues—the primary reason we’re leaving this city!
The city can find some other pawn to pay property taxes so that it can spend money on lost causes like nonprofits and revitalization. In this city, criminals have more rights than taxpayers who follow the law!
At least we had a few good years before the leadership of this city let criminals take over the city, preventing us from enjoying the property and going to the parks and facilities nearby. 2 good years and the last 6 were disappointing. Not a place to raise adolescent kids, unless you are a criminal!
