City council off until Nov. 12

Only one Standing Policy Committee meeting is on the agenda before city council next meets in mid November.

City council last met on Oct. 22, staging its fall organizational meeting and a regular meeting. Since then, there has been one SPC, Governance, which met on Oct. 24. On Thursday, the Downtown Lawlessness Task Force is scheduled to meet at 7:30 in council chambers but the next committee meeting won’t be held until Nov. 7 when the Assets and Infrastructure SPC meets.

Council itself returns to chambers on Nov. 12 and then will meet again on Nov. 26. Council acting in its role as Economic and Finance SPC will meet for two days – Nov. 13-14 – to discuss budgets. Those two meetings will start at 9:30 a.m. Economic and Finance SPC will also meet on Nov. 27 at its regular time of 1:30 p.m..

Council will hold one regular meeting in December on the 10th but acting as Economic and Finance SPC, it will also meet on Dec. 12.
