Thomas introduces sex offender bill

Al Beeber Lethbridge Herald Lethbridge Member of Parliament Rachael Thomas has introduced a private member’s bill calling for the government to end sentence reductions for sexual predators. Bill C-246, introduced on Tuesday, calls for the Criminal Code to be amended requiring courts to impose consecutive sentences on people  convicted of sexual offences.If passed, the bill would see those convicted not receive reduced sentences. “For over a ...
