Energy Smart Canada and Arctic Spas Lethbridge celebrate 25th anniversary

There is still time to check out the Home, Garden & Leisure Show today and one area that might stand out due to its size is the Energy Smart Canada and Arctic Spas area.  

Owner of both Energy Smart Canada and Arctic Spas Lethbridge, Rudy Reger says it is very exciting for him and his team to be able to celebrate their 25^th anniversary this year, not only of being in business but also of attending the Home, Garden & Leisure Show. 

“It’s always a good time for us to meet existing clients and new clients, but this year, we’re focussing a lot on the drone for spraying, especially for smaller farms,” says Reger. 

He says one person can run two drones at the same time and this saves farmers a lot of time and waste, as they do not have to go up and down their fields with equipment that uses big tires and takes time to utilize. 

“I can do around 40 acres per hour with one drone. So, with two drones, you can do a lot in one day,” says Reger. 

In terms of the price tag attached to the drones, Reger says it ranges between $40,000 to $50,000 including the charger, depending on the size and what options are needed. 

“And, of course, we are big into renewables as well. We’re very into solar and geothermal. We have a new geothermal unit here from Europe. It’s the most efficient heat pump in the market, and it can do all of it, from heating, forced air, and hot water,” says Reger. 

When talking about his Arctic Spas display, Reger says they are showcasing a variety of spas and this year they have a special colour to celebrate their 25^th anniversary and only 25 were made. 

“We are excited to introduce our new polar bear. An 18-foot hot tub with a special current, so you can swim in it without any tethering device. And we’ll have some swimmers coming this afternoon to join us and show people how it works,” says Reger. 

For those attending the show, Reger says he has some special discounts if they decide to purchase a spa. 

“We have an amazing sale going on. We are offering double the warranty, and no GST.  It’s huge discount for anybody’s looking for a hot tub, a swim spa, or a cold tub, this is the time,” says Reger
