Canada pledges nearly $100M for Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank

OTTAWA — The federal Liberals are announcing nearly $100 million in humanitarian relief and governance support for Palestinians, days before a widely expected election.
Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly, who took on the file of international development last week, is announcing funding for major agencies working in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The announced funding includes $30 million for recovery and governance support in the West Bank, where there has been escalating violence between Israeli troops and local militants and what Ottawa calls “significant displacement.”
Ottawa says it’s also sending nearly $45 million for healthcare, food and shelter for Palestinians, particularly in the Gaza Strip where a ceasefire has ended between Israel and Hamas.
A quarter of the funding will also go toward security programming, particularly relating to landmines, and the funds will flow through agencies like the United Nations, World Bank and Red Cross.
Canada has been calling on Israel to stop restricting humanitarian aid from reaching Gaza, calling the situation “not sustainable,” while Israel blames Hamas militants for violence and aid seizures.
The federal Liberals have faced widespread criticism from Jewish and Arab groups for statements around the Israel-Hamas war, especially in the past week.

How much of that will Hamas take control of? Hamas has been commandeering much of the relief sent in, then selling it to buy more weapons and for themselves!
Reminder. . . before Oct 7th when the terrorists attacked Israel, Gazans were already suffering from limited access to food, while the international poured billions into the small area. Hamas spent billions building the several hundred miles of tunnels and subterranean structures while the people starved. Canada helped build those tunnels with the money they gave to UNRWA . . . when will your learn!

The Liberal Government using our tax dollars to fund terrorism in the Middle East! No?? Guess what . . . it is estimated that at the very least over 3,000 of UNRWA employees were Hamas members, some high level leaders . . . this have been proven many times with tangible evidence!
Is this where you want your tax dollars going? Have you noticed the bright and shiny new vehicles that Hamas have been driving and the well fed members, or the convoys that entered that were quickly jumped by armed militants?
This is how the Liberal government spends your tax dollars, while we face hitting a debt wall as we near $1.3 trillion in National Debt! We pay over $53 billion per year just on interest for that debt, a debt that went of just $750 billion when the Liberals took over 10 years ago, to $1.2 trillion in just a few years as they spent as if money just dropped from the sky or grew on trees!
I guess this why they were so cozy with Aga Khan . . . who is Aga Khan?
Aga Khan is the spiritual leader of the Nizari Ismaili branch of Shia Islam, a hereditary title passed down through the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad. Remember Trudeau was allowed to vacation on this Muslim leader’s private island, which breached conflict of interest laws!
This fiscally irresponsible government just continues to spend, spend, spend, and when it goes to terrorists to kill innocent babies, women and children or slaughter young people at music festivals it infuriates me!
Yet Canadians just ignore it and even plan on re-electing the government with a majority!
