CP NewsAlert: Canada, U.S. to negotiate new economic, security plan after election

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada and the U.S. will begin comprehensive negotiations for a “new economic and security relationship” immediately after the Canadian election.

Carney and U.S. President Donald Trump spoke by phone this morning in a call the two leaders separately called “constructive” and “productive.”
