Canada caught up in China-U.S. trade war as Trump claims fentanyl continues to flow

WASHINGTON — Pulling Canada into his trade war with China, U.S. President Donald Trump claims Chinese fentanyl continues to “pour” across both borders.
Trump complained on social media today about Chinese airlines refusing to accept Boeing planes to protest his administration’s massive tariffs on China.
In his post, he says that fentanyl continues to flow into the U.S. from China through Mexico and Canada.
Trump last month slapped economywide tariffs on Canada, linking the duties to the flow of people and fentanyl across the United States’ northern border. He partially paused the levies a few days later.
U.S. data shows a tiny amount of fentanyl is seized at the Canada-U.S. border and the RCMP says there is no evidence of large-scale movement of the drug from Canada into the United States.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said earlier this week there have been “successes” at the Canada-U.S. border.

You are not going to shut down the flow of fentanyl into the US or the precursors to make it, in just a few months! China, the Cartels, and the bikers have all built mutliple smuggling routes/methods to a point that it will take a few years to see any major change. You can build all the walls you want, but how many tunnels are going under the southern US border or Northern Canada US border.
Trains, must all be checked, sea containers must all be checked, as well as vehicles, various types of equipment for construction/farming, etc., there are so many holes to plug up to reduce the flow into the US that you are dreaming if you think you are going to do it in a month or a year!
Just like you said when you are elected Mr. Trump that the Ukraine-Russia War would end in one day!
China is trying to poison North America to weaken it from within so it makes taking it over much easier. They learned from the Opium Wars that it is any easy way to weaken a nation without military action.
Canada is guilty of not maintaining a military to protect its own borders, coastlines, waters and the Arctic and we may lose the Arctic because of that, but we have not kept up are vital roles in NATO, and have also neglected our customs and border guards. We have also not properly funded our police or kept our legislation for criminal codes amended for the times and have allowed our judicial and penal systems to become failures.
Because of that China, organized crime/cartels have taken advantage of this and Canada now one of the most popular places for them to launder their money . . . as they strength grows in Canada . . . bringing with that growth the drug crisis, crime, violent crime, homelessness from the drug crisis, child pornography/exploitation, sex and human trafficking, gun smuggling, fraud, and increases in real estate pricing from money laundering which also causing housing shortages.
There are so many negative impacts from these increases I am not going to mention them further, but along with it all . . . people die, kids die . . . families are destroyed!
Canada should cut all ties with China and quit trading with them! They only have one desire . . . world dominance . . . Xi Jinping has stated this openly! We are paying for their military by buying all their goods!
Yet we continue to buy so many goods from them because it is cheap . . . selling out our country so that our kids and grandkids will suffer in the near future. China is not a paper tiger!
