Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre loses his long-held seat in Ottawa

OTTAWA — The Canadian Press decision desk is projecting that Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has lost in the Ottawa riding of Carleton.
Poilievre first took the seat in 2004 and won it six subsequent times.
Liberal candidate Bruce Fanjoy was leading in the riding by more than 3,700 votes with over 99 per cent of polls reporting.
Fanjoy, a political rookie, tirelessly knocked on doors in his bid to unseat Poilievre, saying the riding deserved better.
In an address to supporters after midnight, Poilievre acknowledged the Conservative party’s defeat at the hands of the Liberals in the general election, but indicated he would continue as leader.
Poilievre took the Conservative reins in 2022, winning the leadership on the first ballot.

Will the Conservatives, who usually kick out leaders who lose, kick this one out? Will someone be willing to give up their seat for him? This Poilievre loss could possibly fracture the party. The silence this morning re: PP’s seat loss is deafening.
And Nenshi? Does he have a seat in the legislature? PP will have no problem finding a seat, unlike Nenshi!
This was a direct hit against the democratic election process which shows that there needs to be electoral reforms!
It is clearly election manipulation which was influenced by the Longest Ballot Committee who put in dozens of candidates to take down the Conservatives, in a riding that may see 4 or 5 candidates . . . there were 91 candidates and this radical committee’s leadership are ex staffers of the NDP and Liberals. A big question is who funded them!
When we see desperate acts such as this, where parties no longer respect the democratic electoral process to play out, knowing full well and with the intention of bringing down a candidate, with such manipulation, it is a warning sign to all . . . but many will not pay attention, as many were not even aware of this incident which played out in Ottawa, I am sure!
The NDP paid the price for propping up the Liberals, allowing them to further destroy our country as Trump increased the damages . . . and the biggest reasons Trump put Canada in his sights . . . drugs and bankrupt military . . . he warned Canada a few years ago what would happen if we didn’t meet our NATO 2% of GDP commitment!
The drug crisis in Canada, especially all the failed policies in dealing with the crisis such as safe supply, making BC a legal drug dealer, decriminalization, supervised consumption sites, etc., threw gasoline on the fire and allowed organized crime to increase operations to a point Canada was one of the best countries in the world to launder criminal money, and Cartels increased their presence and relationships with other criminal organizations, increasing drug labs/smuggling . . . also increasing all other criminal activites including child sex trafficking and exploitation . . . with that it showed Canada as one of the great places for organized crime to conduct business . . . The Liberals ignored the threats to Canadians and our sovereignty . . . spending most of their time flying around the world telling other nations how to govern and making enemies instead of looking after our own country . . . no wonder Trump decided Canada needed a wake up call . . . but Canadians are still oblivious, not interested . . . why . . . then they voted in another Liberal government.
Lets not forget the Liberals allowed Communist China to embed itself across our nation as well . . . another rant for another time!
Pierre will easily find another seat because many still realize his party was the only hope to stop Canada from sliding into the abyss as a bankrupt nation!
Election reform is needed after watching this anti-democratic action that if not checked, will be used again and again!
Wake up . . . or pay the price of losing a once great nation!
