CP NewsAlert: King Charles II delivers throne speech

OTTAWA — King Charles III has begun delivering the speech from the throne to officially open the new Canadian Parliament following the April election.

It’s the first time that a sitting British monarch has delivered a throne speech in Canada in nearly 50 years.
