Federal envoy urges Ontario to act on antisemitism in its public schools

OTTAWA — Canada’s special envoy on antisemitism says Ontario needs to take seriously incidents of anti-Jewish bigotry targeted at students in public schools.
Deborah Lyons commissioned a survey of nearly 600 Jewish parents, and found hundreds of children were subjected to incidents including antisemitic bullying and blame for the carnage of Israel’s military conduct in the Gaza Strip.
Families reported incidents such as children chanting Nazi slogans and giving salutes, and teachers telling students that Israel does not exist.
The survey logged 781 incidents that it deemed antisemitic, including discussions on the Middle East that went beyond forceful criticism of Israel.
Lyons’ office approached various Jewish groups asking for them to promote the survey, and heard form families who have moved their children to other schools or removed markers of Jewish identity.
The report marks a rare move of federal rapporteurs singling out issues outside of Ottawa’s jurisdiction.

And the post secondary institutions? The foreign students and in some cases professors who support and encouraged protests? There is so much more to be done and I have zero faith in this pro Hamas federal government who by their words and actions showed support while our tax dollars helped fund Hamas, with knowledge those funds were ending up benefiting Hamas and while our Canadian flag was burned while protestors proclaimed ‘death to Canada’, we are Hamas’ and nothing was done. This violated hate speech laws in Canada and in some cases, anti-terrorists laws, but they did nothing!
Canada has allowed these groups to bring their conflict to our country, to our schools and post secondary institutions and I remind you of an event last summer in Montreal at McGill where pro-Hamas protestors facilitated a ‘revolutionery camp’ for young people.
#Revolt4Rafah, the Gaza Solidarity Encampment at McGill launched the Revolutionary Youth Summer Program.
The post went of to say “We pledge to educate the youth of montreal and redefine McGill’s “elite” institutional legacy by transforming its space into one of revolutionary education. The daily schedule will include physical activity, Arabic language instruction, cultural crafts, political discussions, historical and revolutionary lessons.”
What is more shocking . . . very little public outcry to this brainwashing, propaganda event, more than likely funded by Hamas or Iran or Qatar or the Muslim Brotherhood!
We need change before we see attacks on our streets and don’t ever think this will never happen here! Wake up! Our intelligence services and police have prevent multiple attacks on our soil over the years and with all the new radicals in our country who are anti-West, their job has become harder.
Canada has allowed this divisive action which is anti-Canadian! Thank you Mr. Trudeau for destroying a once great country in just a few short years!
Never have we seen such division!
