CP NewsAlert: Carter Hart acquitted of sexual assault

LONDON — Carter Hart, a former member of Canada’s world junior hockey team, has been found not guilty of sexual assault in a 2018 encounter with a woman in London, Ont., that involved several other players.

The ruling is still underway and Ontario Superior Court Justice Maria Carroccia has not yet given her decision regarding the four other accused players – Carter Hart, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube and Callan Foote.
