Dora Maria Hillmer passed away in Magrath on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 91 years.
Dora was survived by her son Hans (Weltraud) Harksel and her daughter Barbara Reich; her grandchildren Andrea Borkenhagen and Tadeus Reich and her sister Irmgerd (Phil) Hillmer. Dora was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Pauline Bernhard.

GLADYS (WLADYSLAWA) ERNST
MAY 24, 1930 ~ MAY 29, 2013
Gladys Ernst passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Health Center with her family by her side on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the age of 83.
Gladys was born in Poland on May 24, 1930. In 1949 she immigrated to Canada where she married her husband Karl on February 3, 1951. Gladys and Karl worked tirelessly to make a life for themselves and their 4 daughters.
Gladys loved her family dearly and spent many hours babysitting and taking her grandchildren out camping, fishing or a shopping trip on the bus. She had a soft heart for animals as she would often take in stray dogs, cats or birds. Gladys welcomed many family and friends into her home with open arms, often cooking wonderful polish dishes for hours on her feet without a complaint.” No one could make perogies and cabbage rolls like Grandma did”
In her later years, Gladys enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden and spending time with her family. Gladys is survived by her daughters, Jeannie, Theresa and Christine; her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her grandson Grant in 1987, husband Karl in 2003 and her daughter Lily in 2010.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 3, 2013 at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH | 604- 13th Street North, Lethbridge with Father Kevin Tumback, celebrant.

MOHRMANN
MR. WILLY MOHRMANN of Shaughnessy, beloved husband of Selma, passed away in his sleep on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the age of 84 years.
Willy was born in Crivitz Deu, Germany on August 5, 1928 and immigrated to Canada in 1953. He resided in Shaughnessy at the time of his passing. Upon arriving in Canada Willy worked as a hired hand on various farms, drilling for water and doing other work around the farms and at schnoor’s Garage. He then worked at the Picture Butte sugar factory hauling beets, laboring and also trucking fuel for Don Morris before working his own farm full-time. Willy’s true passion was farming. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved working with animals. His greatest pride of farming was his cattle and his hay crops. 
Willy leaves to mourn his wife of 60 years, Selma and his sister Ursula (Herbert) Laube of Herzlake, Germany. He is also survived by his children Ursula (Glen) Jacklin of Wyndel BC, Ingrid (Ron) Wolodchenko of Shaughnessy, Walter (Joanne) Mohrmann of Coalhurst, Erika (Bill) Kirsch of Lethbridge. Rudy Mohrmann, Monika Mohrmann and Mike (Amy) Mohrmann of Shaughnessy. He is also survived by his grandchildren Samantha Tillet, Kim Fink, Shane (Elaina) Mohrmann, Shantel (Chris) Mohrmann, Nicole Wolodchenko, Austin Mohrmann, Scott Mohrmann, Nicholas Mohrmann, Cohen Mohrmann, Alexis Mohrmann, and his great-grandchildren Emily Todd-Healey and Kashton Wolodchenko, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Willy was predeceased by his parents Fritz and Anna, sister Hilda, brother Guenter, sister-in-law Elsa, daughter Crystal, and granddaughter Candace.
A Funeral Service will be held at CHRIST TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH – 416 12th Street South on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Jim Krause officiating.

WIENS
MR. ABRAM WIENS, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Helena Wiens, went to meet his Lord and Saviour while at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the age of 85.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by daughter Joyce (Dennis) Johnson and children Julie (Darren) Nikkel and great-grandchildren Jaxon and Kamryn; Daryl, Darcy (Rhonda); son Tim (Lue) and children Kyle, Jason, and Kendell (Jill); son Andy; son Dave (Shirley) and children Lyndsey (Mickey) Friesen, Matthew, Kimberley; son Thomas; daughter Tamara Marilyn (John) Stevens and children Nicholas (Cathy) Kuhn, Alexandra Kuhn. He leaves behind 2 sisters: Katherine (Peter) Tymburski and Ruth Wyton, and 1 brother Neil Wiens, sister-in-law Olive Wiens, and brother-in-law John Hildebrand. He will also be missed by numerous other relatives and friends.
Abram was predeceased by sons Abe and Peter and his beloved wife Helena; parents Frank and Helena Wiens; sisters Mary Tymburski, Lucille Wiens, and Ellen Hildebrand, brother Frank, and brother-in-law Ralph Wyton.
Abram was born on February 29, 1928, in Airdrie, Alberta. He married Helena Martens on June 19, 1954, and farmed in Coaldale and later in Lomond for 37 years. They retired in Coaldale in 1994.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHEREN CHURCH, 2114-18th Street, Coaldale on Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M.
A Graveside Service will take place at the COALDALE MENNONITE CEMETERY on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:30 P.M.
A Memorial Service will follow at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHEREN CHURCH, 2114-18th Street, Coaldale on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Rudy Heidebrecht and Pastor Lorne Willms.

VICTORIA “VICKIE” KATHERINE ZAUGG, beloved wife of the late Eldon Bohman Zaugg, passed away in Stirling on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the age of 97 years.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, STIRLING CHAPEL, with Bishop Lamar Wilde officiating.
Friends may meet the family on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the church, or prior to the service on Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m.
Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
