DOROTHY ROPER
1924 ~ 2013
MRS. DOROTHY HELEN ROPER beloved wife of the late Mr. Ronald Roper (1981) passed away peacefully at the Fairmont Extendicare on Sunday June 30, 2013 at the age of 89 years.
Dorothy was born and raised in Hardieville, the youngest of 9 children to John & Emily Lazaruk. She married Ronald Roper on September 13, 1942 and together they resided in Lethbridge.
Dorothy is survived by her children Gloria (Cyril) Serkin, Mavis Matis, Kathryn Stewart
and Darren (Kim) Roper all of Lethbridge; 8 grandchildren, Toby, Sheldon & Carla (Serkin), Jennifer & Kevin (Matis), Laura (Stewart), Matthew & Hannah (Roper); 8 great-grandchildren.
At Dorothy’s request a private family graveside service will be held.

MARGUERITE (MIKI) BRYANT
1926 ~ 2013
We wish to announce the passing of an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and person. Miki Bryant of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Charlie Bryant, passed away on June 27th, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
Miki was born September 9, 1926 in Knowlton, PQ. She attended Bishop’s University, the U of A, and the U of L, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Miki spent 17 years teaching at Kate Andrews High School in Coaldale. She was a wonderful French teacher.
Miki loved cooking, sewing, knitting, reading, playing bridge, and tending the garden. Her family was always front and center in her life. Her love, guidance, and beautiful smile will always be treasured. While she was small in stature, she was a strong and resilient person. She was an exemplary role model to those around her. Miki’s favourite places included ‘the farm’ in Coaldale, the cabin at Rosen Lake, and Lake Massawippi in North Hatley, Quebec.
Miki is survived by her children, Steve (Erin), Dawn (Wally), Jeff, Michael (Laverne), and Paul (Debbie); grandchildren Rena, Jolene, Jeff, Janelle, Jayce, Kevan, Candace, Joel; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to all of the incredible, caring staff at the Sunny South Lodge in Coaldale.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, July 5th, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 Street S., Lethbridge with Canon Erin Phillips officiating.

ANN “ANNA” WELLS passed away at her residence in Moses Lake on June 30th, 2013 at the age of 65 years.
A Wake Service will be held at the Moses Lake Gym, Blood Reserve on Sunday, July 7th from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Monday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. with Father Pawel Andrasz, Celebrant.

Willard Stephen Albert
December 7, 1932 – June 19, 2013
Willard passed away June 19, 2013 in Raymond, Alberta at the age of 80 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Milk River to Louie & Mary Albert and was predeceased by his wife Phillipa on April 7, 1980. A celebration of life will be held in the Raymond Seniors Centre, 55E 100N Raymond, AB on Saturday, July 6 at 1pm. The family wishes to thank the caregivers, nurses and doctors for the wonderful care given to Willard during his illness. If friends so desire a memorial tribute in Willard’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200-325 Manning Rd NE, Calgary, AB or the Good Samaritan Society, 8861-75 St Edmonton, AB, T6C 4G8.
