AUBREY ALLEN KAMBEITZ
1953 – 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aubrey Allen Kambeitz on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the age of 60 years.
Aubrey was born in Taber, Alberta on January 3, 1953 and grew up on the family farm south of Grassy Lake. He moved to Lethbridge with his parents in 1966, where he attended school and university before entering the work force as a parts man. He was dedicated to his family, overseeing the care of his parents in their last years. He was a loving father. He will be missed dearly.
Aubrey was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Helen Kambeitz and by his nephew Thomas Kambeitz.
Aubrey is survived by his children David and Daniel Kambeitz; his four siblings Pius (Lorna) Kambeitz, Ernest (Linda) Kambeitz, Marilyn (Bryan) Bell, and Rita (Howard) Edey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Vigil Rites will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, August 8th, 2013 at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 2405 12 Ave. South, with Father Kevin Tumback, celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

KOWALSKI
Mr. Jozef Kowalski, beloved husband of Jadwiga Kowalski of Lethbridge, AB. passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the age of 95 years.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his son Les Kowalski of St. Albert, AB.

NELLA POTUZAK
Born September 1, 1941, died July 18, 2013 after a brief illness in Elliot Lake Ontario. No service by request.

RONDEAU
Nicole Marie Alice Rondeau, born March 22, 1950 in Lachine Quebec, passed away suddenly at her home in Hill Spring on July 28, 2013. Nicole worked approximately 11 years for the Salvation Army in Lethbridge. Three years ago she met the love of her life Clem. Nicole then transferred to Fort Macleod Salvation Army because she moved to Hill Spring with Clem and their 2 dogs. She enjoyed her life with Clem riding their trike, watching birds, riding horses, computers, cooking, etc. She was also very serious when it came to her job.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on August 10, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2517-3rd Ave., Fort Macleod, AB.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Fort Macleod Salvation Army Food Bank, Box 506, Fort Macleod, AB T0L 0Z0.

SAITO
MARIE (FUKAMI) SAITO, beloved wife of the late Ted Saito, passed away in Lethbridge on August 4, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
Marie is predeceased by her father Katusbei Fukami, mother Asa Fukami, brother Mac Fukami, and son Rick Saito.
She is survived by her sister Chiye Matsumoto, brother Tom Fukami, daughters: Judy (Neil) McKinnon, Arlene (Bernie) McTighe, and Cheryl (Bill) Zielke; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Marie had a career as a seamstress for over 40 years before going to work at Sunburst Pottery. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, dancing and was a wicked scrabble player.
Special thank-you to the staff at Edith Cavell Centre for the loving care and attention they showed every day to Mom.

1937 – 2013
 Our very special Dad and Papa, Lawrence Gross, slipped into heaven on the morning of Saturday, August 3, 2013 with his children by his side.

 Dad will be lovingly remembered and eternally missed by his children Beverly (David) Tischler and Dennis (Natisha) Gross all of Red Deer; grandchildren Erinn (David) Magnusson, Kyle (Brittany) Guminy, Nevaeh and Jewel Gross. Lawrence is also survived by his siblings George (Jean) Gross, Peter (Donna) Gross, Frank Gross, Lucielle (Mike) Hryciuk and Agnes Peterson.
 He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Shockey, brother Philip Gross, sisters-in-law Dorothy and Joan Gross, brothers-in-law Lum Shockey and John Peterson.
  Lawrence grew up in Grassy Lake and spent his life living in Taber, a community he was happy to call home. Dad was a gentle, kind hearted man who enjoyed working, visiting with friends and spending time with his family. He never missed a family reunion, standing as the reigning family horseshoe throwing champ for many years. Lawrence will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
 Many thanks to everyone for the prayers and support sent to Dad and our family during the past few weeks.
