Bill Lovin of Lethbridge Alberta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 69 years. Bill is survived by his lovin wife, Margaret (and their two fluffy four footed children, Buddy and Babe); his mother Sadie and one brother Clarence; his children Deborah (Pierre) and Mark (Rieko); step children Wayne (Marilyn), Brian (Kimberly), Colin (Deb) and Wendy (Dwight); and numerous grandchildren, Nicholas, Shie, Koji, Richard, Kristie (Lance), Amy (Chris), Jennifer (Stephan), Sara, Adam, Candice (Jeff), Derek (Andria; and great grandchildren Starlise, Jager, Farrah, Ruby, Evan, Brock & Jessica.
Bill was born February 24, 1944 in Vanderhoof, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his father Roy and brother Kenneth.
Anyone who knew Bill, knew of his love for golf. Recently his good friend Norm got Bill interested in coin collecting and trading. Bill spent the majority of his life working as a heavy duty mechanic with various employers throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. His mechanical ability was second to none. He could fix anything that he put his mind to. Bill was highly respected by his peers and employers. During the last 30 years Marg and Bill have also enjoyed their travels, adventures, family and golf!!
In the last few years Bill has found his dream job at the Taber golf course, wrenching by morning, golfing by the afternoon. Family had fun times keeping up to the golfing bug that consumed Bill & Marg.
Having been in the Taber and Lethbridge area for the last 14 years they have built a close circle of friends, we wish to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped us in this period of transition. Special thanks go out to Norm, Diane, Rob, Carol, Maggie and their families.
At Bill’s request, no formal service will be held at this date, please keep his memory alive through the activities you shared in common.
