ANNETTA MARY ALLEN
1921 ~ 2013
Annetta Mary Allen of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late David Allen, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the age of 92 years.
Annetta was born in Brandon, Manitoba. At six months old she moved to Lethbridge where she lived with her parents Robert and Cora Russell and her sister Dorothy. She attended Central School and L.C.I. In 1942, she married the love of her life David Allen and together they raised their family in Lethbridge. In 1967, she started working as a school secretary, first at George McKillop School and then at Agnus Davison School where she retired 1986. In her retirement years she enjoyed raising canaries and helping Dave with his pigeons. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and her cats.
Annetta is survived by her daughter Kerry (Pat) Middleton; her sons Terry Allen, Dennis (Dee) Allen, David Allen and Tom Allen; her 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides her loving husband David, Annetta was predeceased by her parents Robert and Cora Russell.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.

M. JEAN BYAM, beloved wife of the late Percy Byam, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the age of 79 years.
She is survived by her children: Bonnie Soltys, Rose Byam, Tom (Shauna) Byam and Bill (Sherryl) Byam; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by Edwin Byam and Jerry Soltys.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, STIRLING CHAPEL. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from noon to 12:45 p.m. at the church.
Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.

DUNN
FAY ARLENE DUNN passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre, Lethbridge.
She leaves her beloved family: husband Harold; son Duane, and daughter Mona Scott; sister Betty Cleland; and all the family and friends who were so generous with their time, food, flowers, good wishes and love.
She was predeceased by her mother and father Murle and Bessie Dawson, and infant daughter Deborah Jean Dunn.
Fay loved to bake, sew, and tend her yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed camping, ice fishing, and dancing.
Inurnment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, prior to the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on December 21.

KUZ

MRS. ROSE MARIE KUZ, passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the age of age of 74 years.
Marie is survived by her children; Roxanne (Kevin) Kellogg, Darren (Jody) Kuz, Tony Kuz, as well as her grand children Joel, Aaron, Benjamin, Rachel and Seth, Aleksandra. Marie is also survived by her children’s’ father William Kuz, her Siblings Dave Somer (Jami) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and long time friends in Red Deer and Lethbridge.
Marie is predeceased by her parents Herman and Martha Somer as well as her siblings: Herman, Ann, and Clara.
Marie received her RN from Victoria School of Nursing, Winnipeg in 1960 and spent many years at Michener Centre in Red Deer and Golden Circle Centre in Red Deer.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Tuesday, December 17th, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. with Maureen Condon Horon officiating.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 12th Avenue South, Lethbridge, on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Nathan Siray celebrating.
Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date.

SHIRLEY WYNDER

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Wynder of Coleman, Alberta who peacefully passed away on December 8, 2013 at the Crowsnest Pass Health Care Centre. She enjoyed sixty years of life.

TAYLOR
TERESA GAI TAYLOR, of Lethbridge passed away at St. Michael’s on Saturday, December 14th at the age of 51 Years.
She created a wonderful family with Stanly Labossiere and is the loving mother of Adam Labossiere and Reena Houghton of Lethbridge, Ashley Labossiere and Jack Stevens of Lethbridge, and Joshua Labossiere and Christina Roberts of Lethbridge.
As well as being the Grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren, Rocco and Mila.
She is also survived by Judy and Brian Rutherford, Gordon Taylor, Neil and Frieda Taylor, Katie and Brian Landry and Sheryl and Curtis Fairbanks alongside many cousins, nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. Tracy was predeceased by her loving mother Clara Taylor.
Tracy had a true heart. Each and every day she grew more affectionate, more giving and could light up a room with her warm smiles, bright eyes and kind hellos. Everyone she encountered became a part of her. A part she wanted to love and cherish so they would know how special they are to this world. She chose to fill her world with joy, love and compassion. She will be forever missed.

 Bernhard Harder, beloved husband of Sarah Harder, passed away in Taber on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at the age of 88 years.

Ben is also survived by his sister Katherine Jackson of Red Deer, brother-in-law Jake Neufelt of Ninette, Manitoba and by numerous nieces and nephews.
 He was predeceased by his parents Helena (nee Unger) and Henry Harder; sisters Helen Neufelt and Ann (Frank) Courchain; brothers John Harder, Henry
(Murial) Harder and Ed Harder; grandson Jeffrey Thiessen.
 Ben was born in Altona, Manitoba on May 3, 1925. At the age of fourteen, Ben helped support the family by working on neighbouring farms. During World War II, he worked on the Canadian Railway. Ben spent some time in British Columbia working in logging camps and in his later working years, was employed as a farm labourer in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
 Ben met Sarah Wiebe in 1950 and they were married November 18, 1951, having just celebrated their sixty second wedding anniversary this past November.
They were blessed with six children, twenty three grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Ben was a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a consciences hard working, jack of all trades. He was an inventive and adventurous man. Ben will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
