PAUL HENRY MANLEY, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called home to glory on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his loving wife Marjorie Manley (Stannard); three sons Larry (Debra), Bill (Mano) & Tom (Marge); grandchildren: Samantha (Chris), Stephanie (Sheldon) Kropiniski, Heather (Dan), Lindsey (Aaron) Koster; great-grandchildren: Carson, Reece (Kropiniski) and River (Koster). He is also survived by his two brothers Robert and Walter (Ella) as well as 4 nephews and 1 niece.
He is predeceased by his mother Ivy Minni Manley (September 24, 1987) and his father William Hartley Manley (November 12, 1936).
Paul was born in Lethbridge, Alberta January 7, 1929. He was raised, educated and married in Lethbridge. He attended the Lethbridge Pentecostal Tabernacle and later the Westside Community Church. He was a dedicated family man and church member. At 7 years old, Paul’s father died and at 15 years old, he quit school to help support his mother and brothers. His career was totally with the CPR. He retired at 58 years old after 45 years of service. His faithfulness in the church was extensive. He was a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School bus driver, board member, sang in the choir, and sang in the Old Gospel Sextet.
An interment will take place at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Mountain View Cemetery, Scenic Dr. & 11 Street South with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm at the WESTSIDE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 480 McMaster Blvd West, Lethbridge, AB with Reverend Bert Faulkner, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society, #410 740 4 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9.

DENNIS MASTERSON BUTLER of Magrath, AB passed away on January 2, 2014 at the age of 69 years.
He is missed by his children, Marintha Butler and Nicholas Morrison of Calgary and by Marilynn Jones Masterson, Marilyn Foote, Duenna and Dwayne Anderson, Leanne and Steve Minnick, Grayson and Lorene Butler, Gerry and Cherie Butler and Jolene and James West.

It is with great sadness that the family of GORDON “GORD†BRUCE CONINE, beloved husband of the late Joyce Conine, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge on Friday, January 3rd, 2014 at the age of 77 years.
He leaves behind his devoted and loving family, daughter Debbie (Ron) Gretzinger, grandchildren, Brad, (Shannon) Cory, and Paige, and his great grandchildren, Miranda, Zack and the love of his life Brayden.
He is also survived by a son Bruce, sisters Evelyn (Irvine Pickering), Shirley Fander and brothers Lee (Judy), Al (Diana), and Robert and their families.
He was predeceased by his wife Joyce in 2003, and his son David in 1984, his sisters Esther and Eleanor and brother Vern.

MARY HANNAN, born February 9, 1922, passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritans Society Park Meadows, on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the age of 91 years. She had resided in Golden Acres for the past seven years where she received excellent care.
 Mary is the loving mother of Ross (Beth) Hannan and their son Mitch (Cinn) Hannan as well as grandchildren Brent (Karen) Hannan, Jody (Brad) Keim, and 4 great grandchildren.
 She is also survived by sisters Ann (Rob – Deceased) Duval, Barbara (Robbie) Roberts, and sister-in- law Dagmar Luchanski.
 She is predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Hannan, her son Kenneth Hannan and daughter-in-law Audrey Hannan, her parents George and Ann Luchanski, and brothers George Luchanski, Michael (Beattie) Luchanski, and John Luchanski.
 At Mary’s request no formal funeral service will be held. Her immediate family will attend a graveside ceremony at a later date.

JOYCE MARY MARSH, known to all as “GRANNY”, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 85 years.
She is the loving mother of Gordon (Mary) Marsh of Arrowwood, Ab; Arnie (Margaret) Marsh of Saskatoon, SK; Jean (Stan) McNab of Fort Mac Leod, Ab; Janet (Jay) Marsh of New Dayton, Jo-Ann (Dan) Vayro of Eastend, SK; step-mother to Gwen (Chuck) Zamzow of Bellinham, Washington; Noreen Guthry of Vancouver, BC; Diane Logan of Fort Langley, BC; Tuffy, Mags, Ginger and Shadow.
She is survived by 15 Grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. she is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Bell, Carol (Bill) Oliver, her sister in law Marion Hobberstad and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband Clarence, her parents Albert and Edith Kitchen, and her step son Alden Marsh.
Joyce was born on October 24, 1928 in Yorkshire England to Albert and Edith Kitchen, she was the eldest of three daughters. As a young girl she worked hard on her family’s farm and her love for horses and Jack Russell Terriers began. Just five days before her 20th Birthday Joyce alone, embarked on a journey to Canada, setting sail on the R.M.S “Aquitaniaâ€. When Joyce arrived with only her clothes and English saddle she worked her way west across Canada. Taking on jobs from farm work to childcare, this strong and independent young lady made her way to Calgary, AB where she met and married Clarence Marsh. Joyce then began another journey in her life and became the mother of 5 children.
Settling their young family in the Fort Macleod area, farming and raising cows, horses, sheep and pigs. After Clarence passed away March 8, 1975, Joyce and the kids moved to the “Northy†place just south west of Fort Macleod and continued to farm. Joyce was able to make several trips back to England to visit her family. Joyce moved to Del-Bonita, AB in 1993 where she had her horses, dogs and chickens that she cared for. In 2003 Joyce moved to New Dayton, AB where she continued to care for her animals, and enjoy her country lifestyle.
Joyce’s passion was riding horses, driving buggies and tending to her dogs. She participated in Equestrian events and won numerous awards. Joyce loved the ranch life and was a perfectionist at animal husbandry. She took great pride in raising her children and her animals. Joyce was a very hard worker with exceptional work ethic and she was always teaching somebody something. Her motto was “Anything worth doing was worth doing wellâ€.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the NEW DAYTON COMMUNITY CENTRE , on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.
