FERN MARY ARDELLI, beloved wife of the late Tony Ardelli of Lethbridge, passed away at Legacy Lodge on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the age of 87 years.

DELBELLO
1926 – 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MARIA DELBELLO on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, Nonna and Great Nonna. She is survived by her sons: Aurelio (Diane) and Oriano (Brenda); her grandchildren Mandy (Scott), Tom, Janelle, Conor, James and Brianna; and her great- grandchildren Madeleine and Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Celestina (Sr. Gabriella) of Gorizia, Italy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gioacchino (John), her infant son Marino, her parents Giovanna and Giuseppe, and her siblings Mary, Giuseppe, Anna, and Giovanni.
Maria was born on March 23rd, 1926 in Krkavce, Monte Koper, Slovenia.  She emigrated with her family from Italy in March 1957, settling initially in Coaldale and then moving to Lethbridge where she resided until her passing. She worked at St. Michael’s hospital in housekeeping for over 20 years until her retirement in 1990. Nonna’s pre and post-retirement second job was caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her piccolo bambinos, young and old.
Nonna was an avid gardener who loved taking care of her vegetables and flowers. She also took great pride in her home, to which the doors were always open for the people she loved. She was passionate about baking and cooking and will be remembered as having made some of the best gnocchi around. Nonna truly loved spending time with her family which extended far beyond her relatives. She had a special place in her heart for Elda and Lidia as well their families. Nonna’s love will be felt by many for years to come.
A Prayer Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Dr. South, Lethbridge, AB on Monday July 28th, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.

LUCIEN “Lou” ACHILLE LIMOGES, beloved husband of Roxanne Limoges of Claresholm, A.B, passed away at the Fort Macleod Extendicare on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 78 years.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Roxanne (Theroux), and four children: Celine Shurgelo (Willie), Paul (Rose), Michel and Colette Bantle (Norbert), 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, one brother, Guy (Annette), five sisters: Rollande Griffith, Colette Savaria (LeoPaul), Bea Paulisch, Alice Plotkins (Bob), Cecile Derkatch (Wally).
Lou is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Dorilda (DeBlois), brothers, Rolland and Edouard, and sisters, Eugenie, Marguerite and Gilberte Houle, three sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
Lou worked in maintenance for 28 years at the General Hospital in Edmonton and the Lethbridge Regional Hospital.

ORCUTT
MAUDE ORCUTT, beloved wife of Lloyd Orcutt of Lethbridge, passed away at St. Michael’s Care Centre on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the age of 90 years.
She leaves to mourn her loving and dedicated husband Lloyd Orcutt after 71 years of marriage, son Darrel (Dana) of Coaldale, AB, daughters Colleen (Ernie) Boucher of the Crowsnest Pass, AB, Shelley (George) Goertzen of Crossfield, AB, Patti Wright (partner Gord) of Slocan, BC. She also had six grandchildren Russel (Lisa) Orcutt, Megan (Tony) Curtis, Shanda (Kent) Strandquist, Kara (Dean) Civitarese, Nadawn (Dwayne) Fehr, Darry (Blaga) Goertzen, 14 great grandchildren: Brody and Mackenzie Curtis, Colton Talbot, Braydon, Cody and Londyn Strandquist, Chase and Zoe Civitarese, Calvin and Riley Fehr, Coleman, Ariana, Brianna and Tatiana Goertzen.
Mom is survived by her brother Lloyd (Marg) Currie of Lethbridge.
She was pre-deceased by her parents Neil and Maggie Currie, brother Walter (Rita) Currie, sister Luella (Fred) Karren, sister-in-law Ethel Currie, in-laws Harry and Flo Orcutt, sister-in-laws May (Orville) Webb and Pearl (Les) Cunningham and a baby boy at birth Gregory Lloyd Orcutt.
She was a loving mother and friend to all. Her love for baking, sewing, knitting, cards and travel was enjoyed over the years. Arizona winters were always a highlight socializing with friends and family. She loved showing the grandchildren baking, knitting and card games. She travelled often to see her children living in Crowsnest Pass, AB, Abbotsford, BC, Slocan, BC and of course Coaldale, AB. Mom was a life member of the Pythian Sisters in Coaldale, AB and the 4 C’s club in Chin, AB. Mom was a tremendous farm wife who delivered many a meal to the field during seeding and harvesting season.
A Private Family Service was held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Wallace, Officiant. Inurnment preceded the service at Mountain View Cemetery.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at St. Michael’s Health Centre for their compassion and care, as well as to the numerous friends that made the time to visit with Mom, Thank you.

Penton, Marilyn Mae (nee Kling)
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday July 23, 2014, of Paris, Ontario and formerly of Lethbridge, AB and Burlington, ON in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife to James; loved mother to David, John (Shona), Anne Miskey (Robert) and Linda Wright (William); cherished grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; dear sister to James Kling (Mary Kaye).
Cremation has taken place with interment St.James Anglican Cemetery, Paris. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, (8 Burwell St. Paris, ON) on Thursday July 31, 2014 at 1:00 PM.

Sister Raphael Duprey
Duprey: Sister Raphael, 95 a Sister of St. Martha of Antigonish, died at Bethany, motherhouse on Monday, July 21, 2014. She was in the 76th year of religious life.
Born in Westville, NS, Sister Raphael was the eldest of five children of the late Angus Duprey and Jennie (White) Duprey.
Sister entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Martha in September, 1936, pronounced her first vows in 1938, and her perpetual profession of vows August 24, 1942.
After her profession of vows, Sister Raphael ministered, chiefly, in office duties in various institutions operated by the congregation and in later years volunteered in pastoral care. She was Community Leader in several convents where she lived. In Nova Scotia, Sister served at Bethany, St. Martha’s Hospital, R. K. MacDonald Nursing Home, all in Antigonish, and at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Glace Bay. In Alberta, she served at St. Michael’s General Hospital and Martha Centre, both in Lethbridge, Mineral Springs Hospital, Banff, and St. Elizabeth Convent, Calgary.
Sister Raphael is fondly remembered in the many health care institutions of the Sisters, East and West, for her gentle spirit and compassionate presence to all who entered her life.
Sister Raphael is survived by a sister, Sister Gladys, CSM, and a brother, George. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Genevieve O’Leary and a brother, Martin.
The remains will be resting at Bethany, beginning Thursday, July 24, at 1:15 p.m., where a Celebration of Vigil will be held on the same evening at 7:30. Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the Bethany Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish.
