LILLIAN EDEY, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Gordon Edey, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the age of 68 years. FRITZ
WALLY FRITZ, beloved husband of 66 years to Florence Fritz of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the age of 88 years. Besides his loving wife, Wally is survived by his sons Darryl (Diane), Derrick (Joanne), Darcy (Kathy) Darren (Lorna) and daughter Wendy (Joe), 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wally is predeceased by his parents Alma and Earl Fritz, as well as Donna Campbell. Wallace was born June 9, 1926 in Lethbridge. He received schooling in AB and graduated in BC. Upon returning to Lethbridge, he met the love of his life, Florence Osberg and they were married in 1948. Wallace entered the milling industry and became a manager for Ellison Milling for over 40 years. Wallace loved spending time with family and traveling with Florence and their daughter. He enjoyed gardening and was thrilled by donating it to whoever wanted to eat it. Wallace was a hard working, caring man who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Mountain View Cemetery. Thank you to Dr. Lowe and his staff for taking care of him. By his request, no funeral will be held.

Mrs. Hazel Penny, beloved wife of Mr. Jim Penny, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Hazel is survived by her husband Jim; her daughter Aarol (Ken) Pattenden; granddaughters Andrea Penny and Chelsea Pattenden; grandson Brodie Pattenden; daughter in law Joan Penny. She was predeceased by her mother and father Anna and Peter Brovold; son Dr. Foster Penny; two brothers; eight sisters and granddaughter Shannen Pattenden. LARIVIERE
CECILE “CIS” MARIE LARIVIERE passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 20th, 2014 at St. Michael¹s Health Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta. Cecile was born June 29th, 1938 in Windsor, Ontario to Joseph and Alexina Brunelle. In April 1957, Cecile married her young darling and dance partner, Sidney Lariviere (predeceased), and raised two beloved children, Karen and Mike. She worked many years as a nurse¹s aide at Huron Lodge in Windsor, and enjoyed spending time on her apartment balcony overlooking the Detroit River, watching boats float by and listening to the sounds from Detroit Tigers games. Cecile was an avid bowler, a competitive card player, and an ice cream enthusiast. She also loved to travel and visited many warm and wonderful places; including the Caribbean, Mexico, Spain, Jamaica, Florida, Arizona, the Bahamas, and Hawaii. More than anything, she loved to spend time with her family. Cecile was an accomplished cook and often hosted family dinners for the benefit of her children and grandchildren, her friends and family. Cecile is survived by Mag Nelson, her daughter Karen and son-in-law James (Jake) Gaudette, her son Mike and daughter-in-law Alice Lariviere, her grandchildren Stacey Gaudette-Sharp and Stephen Sharp, Sidney and Tina Gaudette, Michelle Lariviere and Lanz Tory and Malissa Lariviere. Her great-grandchildren Luther, Leighton, Harper and Jaxon. Her sister Pauline and son-in-law John Simons, Leona and son-in-law Larry Tessier, brother Henry and sisters-in-law Heather Brunelle and Betty Brunelle. MERLE RAE UNRUH
Merle Rae Unruh was born on January 8, 1963 ­ the New Year’s Baby in Pincher Creek, AB, while his family lived in the Porcupine Hills for a short time. He departed this life suddenly on September 21st, 2014 reached the young age of fifty one years after a short but intense battle with pneumonia. He spent happy childhood years moving from Lundbreck to Salmon Arm, BC, Linden, AB, and back to Pincher Creek, where he spent the rest of his life. He gave his heart to God in his youth and had a strong faith in Him. He married me, Lorraine Toews, on July 14, 1985. We had a wonderful marriage for just over 29 years. We were blessed with 3 wonderful children who were his pride and joy from little on up. He loved life. He loved the outdoors. He loved to work, and easily made many friends with all of his associates. In 1998, he together with his brother-in-law Jeff Dejax founded Superform. Long hours were spent making this project happen, and Merle put his all into that business until the day he died. We have so many wonderful memories and will miss him so much.
Left to cherish precious memories are his loving wife, Lorraine, children: Jason and Clarissa Unruh, Julie and Joel Smith, Keelan and Jessica Unruh, all of Pincher Creek. A Funeral service will be held at the Foothills Gospel Church (1200 Ken Thornton Blvd.) in Pincher Creek, AB on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. We want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Dewitt for his urgent, thorough care and also the staff at ICU at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital for their efforts. MORGAN WOLSEY
1922 ­ 2014

MORGAN WOLSEY beloved husband of Alma Deibert Wolsey peacefully passed away at the age of 92 in Cardston, Alberta, surrounded by family. He was the 9th of 10 children, born in Cardston, to Edward Peter and Esther Reese Wolsey. Morgan married his childhood sweetheart, Alma, on 15th December, 1942, in Cardston, in the Card Home and were later sealed in the Cardston Temple along with 6 of their children. Morgan spent his career in the oil patch, moving his family throughout the prairie provinces until they settled in Edmonton, Alberta in 1958. They made Edmonton their home for the next 40 years, where they raised their 10 children. He loved his family more than anything and was forever expressing his love for them. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was known for his missionary influence while serving as a Bishop in Edmonton. Morgan is survived by his dear devoted wife Alma of 71 years and his children Brenda (Dave) Deverill, Randy (Vicky) Wolsey, Terry (Janet) Wolsey, Curt (Janis) Wolsey, Randy Cunningham, Doug (Sharlene) Wolsey, Teresa (Mark) Baldry, Denise (Allan) Nelson, Jeanine (Wendell) Olsen, Roger (Catherine) Wolsey, 38 Grand children and 58 Great Grandchildren. Morgan was predeceased by his parents and 8 siblings, and is survived by his younger brother and best friend Byron Wolsey. The family would like to thank Dr. Lloyd Clarke and the Lee Crest Staff for their compassionate and kind care.
