BERNADETTE MARILYN NO CHIEF
Bernadette Marilyn (little one) No Chief, beloved wife of the late Robert Rae (2003), passed away at St. Michael¹s Health Centre in Lethbridge, Alberta, on October 24, 2014, at the age of 51 years. Bernadette was born in Fort Macleod, Alberta, on March 3, 1963, and was the youngest of 12 children. She lived most of her adult life in Lethbridge, Alberta, working with seniors as a health care aide.
Bernadette is survived by her Special Friend, Brian Pitt, and leaves behind her loving children: Cameron (Chrissy) Chief Calf, Crystal (Nick) Chief Calf, and Jonathan No Chief-Rae and step-son Richard Rae; grandchildren: Jay Cotton, Albert Chief Calf, Christopher Chief Calf and other grandchildren. Bernadette also leaves behind her brothers: Jordan (Christine) No Chief, Herman (Leah) No Chief, Sylvester (Yevette) No Chief, Christopher (Sandra) No Chief; her sisters: Bernardette (Isadore) Pard and Veronica S. No Chief (brother-in-law) Franklin Good Rider; her special God-Child Brian Plain Eagle and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind adopted mother Julia Spotted Bull, adopted sisters: Lori Spotted Bull, Lindsey Eichan, Cherrie Moser, and adopted brothers: Don, Dave, Scottie, and Tim Chevelle (also known as “The Chevelles”) she loved them. As well as her sisters-in-law: Barbara Ashmead, Lois (George) Franklins, Joanne (Leroy) Paquette, Wendy (Rick) Ponomar; her brothers-in-laws: Bob Ashmead and Wade Henry.
Bernadette is predeceased by loving parents John and Minnie No Chief; her brothers: James Crow Flag, Frank Crow Flag; her sisters: Joan Ark Crow Shoe, Elizabeth Okemaysim, Bridget No Chief; her infant daughter Marilyn Verna and granddaughter Mya Jade; her brothers-in-law: George Galant, Melvin Plain Eagle; her nieces Madeline No Chief, Meldina Red Young Man, Michelle No Chief; her nephews: Frances Red Young Man and Leon No Chief. We sincerely apologize if we have missed anyone. Funeral services will be held at Piikani Community Hall on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 2:00 pm with a meal to follow. Funeral Services provided by Snodgrass Funeral Homes and Piikani Nation. Thank you to LRH and St. Michael¹s doctors, nurses and support staff of palliative care.
Good-Bye Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Friend. We will miss your laughter, support, comfort and company. We love you.

JOST
Rev. Harold Jost (October 5, 1923 ­ October 27, 2014) passed away peacefully, at the age of 91 years old, at the Extended Care Unit in Milk River. He is now in the arms of His Savior and Lord whom He loved so dearly. He was predeceased by his wife Esther on February 17, 2012; his father and mother, John and Agatha; nine brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter, Amanda Jost. He is survived by his children, Ken Jost (son); Karen (Bernie) Fehr (daughter); Tim (Lorraine) Jost (son); and Dale (Lisa) Jost (son). He leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren who are so grateful for his Godly example and life. The Memorial Service will be held at the Seven Persons Community Church on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Our dear father and grandfather will be so greatly missed. He will live in our hearts forever, and we look forward to our reunion in heaven. MR. LESLIE “LES” GEORGE MICHAEL MARTYNEK, beloved son of Mrs. Irene Martynek, of Fort Macleod, AB. passed away on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at the age of 49 years. Cremation will be held with a private family interment at a later date.

It is with great sadness and love, that the family of Shelley Sanford, announce her passing at the age of 64 years, with her daughter Chrystal at her side. Shelley is survived by her daughter Chrystal, Mom and Step Dad, Doreen and Harold, Brothers Rob and Steve, Sisters Nancy, Kathy, Marilyn and their respective families. Timothy John Lewis, beloved husband of Deb Lewis, passed away peacefully in Taber on Monday, October 27, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 61 years old.
