NICK BLOUDOFF, beloved husband of Tena Bloudoff, of Coaldale, passed away peacefully at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife, Nick is survived by his two sons Layne (Dorothy) & Gord (Marla), his daughter Lori (Rob), as well as two other daughters and sons in law, five step children: Tena (Don), Ann (Martin), Pete (Lisa), Bill (Ivy), Margaret (Don), as well as 23 grandchildren, 11 great -grandchildren and his sister Vera (Tony) Rosen and numerous nieces & nephews. Nick was predeceased by his first wife Shirley in 1997, brothers Mike & Larry, sister Catherine as well as his parents Tom & Pauline and his great-granddaughter Marissa. Nick was born in Canora, SK. to Pauline & Thomas Bloudoff. At the age of 6 years he came to Lethbridge where he was raised & educated. Nick drove truck for many years and enjoyed working at the Salvation Army. He was a spiritual man who loved music. Nick played in many bands and was very familiar to many people. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST – 716 23 Street North, Lethbridge, AB. on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Harold Cooper & Pastor Jim Chapman officiating.

After a long battle with illness, GAIL LIDDELL passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Sunday, October 26th in Calgary.
Gail was born and raised in Blairmore, AB. There she had the benefit of being close to a large family and developed many family values early. The Crowsnest Pass is also where she met her lifelong love and husband of 41 years, Wayne Liddell. As well as her husband, Gail is survived by her daughter Vicki, her son Jordy, grandchildren Tre, Joel Tenille and Connor, sisters Claire Facette and Billie Morton and uncle Larry Gilmar. She is predeceased by her parents William and Leah Stewart as well as many dear extended family members and cherished friends. The family moved to Lethbridge in 1981, where Gail was able to fulfill her love of travel as a travel consultant. She was able to visit many of her dream spots, most recently with Wayne in Costa Rica. Gail was most passionate about helping animals and volunteered her time with local rescue groups. She was also passionate about helping children and opened her home to them as a Foster Parent for a number of years. She will be missed for her loving heart, sense of humor and generosity. Roman John Andron passed away suddenly on the morning of October 29, 2014 at the age of 46 due to a heart condition while in the care of the University of Alberta Hospital. Besides his mother, Teresa, he is survived by his brother, Mark, his partner Lois Punton and her son, Jackson as well as an uncle, aunts and cousins. Born in Lethbridge, he graduated from the University of Lethbridge and then went on to graduate from the University of Victoria. After working with several firms in either a legal or accounting capacity in Edmonton and then Calgary, he returned to Lethbridge in 2003 to begin work closer to home. With hobbies ranging from writing to art to technology and more, he was a gentleman, a scholar and a true renaissance man to those who loved him. In 2010 Roman was fortunate enough to meet the woman who became the love of his life, Lois Punton, and her son Jackson. He will be greatly missed.

James Allen Toth of Fort Macleod, husband and sweetheart of Carmen Adair Toth passed away peacefully at Foothills Medical Centre on October 30 at the age of 62 years. Jim and Carmen have three wonderful children that have amazing spouses – Jared Toth (Lindsay), Niki Olsen (Chris) and Talon Toth (Jocelyn). Eight incredible grandkids Jacob, Abby, Oliver, Boston, Oaklee, Ashlyn, Leo, and Scarlett all idolized him as the best Å’papa¹ in the world. Jim was raised in Lethbridge by a loving family. Many family trips to Waterton started his love of the outdoors and the mountains. He loved hiking, fishing, kayaking and archery. He was passionate about life and constantly learning. He could build a smoking computer, act as soundman or play a mean bass guitar in the band. If something new was on the horizon for the family, Jim did the research to decide which direction to go. This kind, gentle man influenced many. As a young man he served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nagoya, Japan and has filled many church positions since. Many scouts enjoyed his leadership for years. He worked on the railway, Canada Post and Bouvry Exports. He loved his entire family dearly. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Verna Toth, his siblings Jeanette Viola (Ray), Jolayne Banack (Barry), Wayne Toth (Susan), Dennis Toth (Cindy), Terry Toth (Debbie) and a large extended family. Mrs. Vera Fazio of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Arthur Fazio, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2014 at the age of 91 years. Vera lived in Lethbridge her entire life. She loved to go out for a meal, and follow it up with a good game of bridge. She was a member of the Lethbridge Bridge Club, LSCO, and Legion. She was a faithful member of St. Augustine¹s Church and the Evening group. She enjoyed hosting teas and dinners and appreciating the company of family and friends. She was blessed with many dear friends throughout her life. She bowled with the same team for several years. Vera also loved to go to the Girl Guide Camp. In her later years, she worked at the Tea Room and U of L daycare. She met and enjoyed many interesting people in her time there. Vera had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Vera is survived by her daughter Chris (Dennis) Burton of Lethbridge; granddaughters Bev and Tracy Burton of Pincher Creek, of whom she was very proud; brother Norman (Anne) Fullylove, and Nicola, of Sherwood Park. Besides her loving husband Arthur, Vera was predeceased by her parents Ernest & Lena Fullylove; sister Frances; and brother Ed (Bud). John was born December 24, 1918 in Rosefield, Saskatchewan. He met the one and only love of his life, Cleofae Brandon and they married April 12, 1944.
