BOSCH
March 19, 1940 – November 16th, 2014
BOSCH JESSIANN (nee; Vandervalk), beloved wife of the late Lucas Bosch, went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 16, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Jessiann’s family and friends will dearly miss her love of family, love of sewing and embroidering, camping and the outdoors. Jessiann was born in Macleod, Alberta on March 19th, 1940 and grew up in the Claresholm area until the late 1950’s when she moved to Lethbridge, where she married Luke in 1960. Jessiann had a love for numbers (and not just with Sudoku) and she worked as a book keeper for various firms, as well as her and Luke’s family businesses for most of her married life. Luke and Jessiann enjoyed RV’ing and spent ten winters down south in the Quartzsite area. Jessiann is survived by her children: John (Shauna), Lloyd (Kerry) and Cheryl (Hugh); her grand children: Jonathan, Brandon, Melissa (Kacee), Cody (Jamie), Nathan, Lucas, Abigail, Delaney (Ian), Tanner and Morgan; two great grandsons Dominic and Darion; her siblings: Jack (Merry) Vandervalk, Marie (Bill) Poelman. Jessiann was predeceased by her parents Gerard and Jennie Vandervalk. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. An Interment Service will be held at the GRANUM CHRISTIAN REFORMED CEMETERY on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. A Memorial Service will follow the interment at the MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 260 McGill Blvd. W, Lethbridge, AB. at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jim Zondervan officiating.

DOROTHY “DOT” LILLIAN ELDER, beloved wife of the Len Elder, of Lethbridge, passed away at the West Highlands Good Samaritans, on Sunday, November 16th, 2014 at the age of 96 years. At Dot’s request no formal funeral service will be held, a scattering of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

JACOBUS GERHARDUS LE ROUX, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on November 16th, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Jack will be remembered by his wife Ruth; 3 daughters; 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He also has a sister, Maxine Prain, in Australia. Jack was born June 13th, 1925 in Cape Town, South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1964. He will be missed but never forgotten. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston, Alberta on Friday, November 21st, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. MARY GOSSEN
1921 ­ 2014
Mary Gossen (nee Ens) passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge in Lethbridge on Nov. 14. She was born in Felsenbach Maripol, Ekaterinaslav, Russia but lived for most of her life in Coaldale after coming to Canada in the summer of 1927 with her parents, Abram and Maria Ens. Mary was the oldest of nine children. She began working as a housekeeper at the age of 14 to help support the family. She married John Gossen in 1947 and they raised eight sons. They co-owned Coaldale Insurance and Real Estate from 1956 to 1970. Mary was a devout member of the Coaldale Mennonite Church and a member of the church¹s Sunbeam Sewing Circle for many years. She also enjoyed singing with one of the church¹s choirs and volunteered at the Coaldale Hospital tuck shop, Mennonite Thrift Store and a local chapter of Gideon Bible Society. In 1994, the Coaldale Senior Citizens Centre named John and Mary Gossen Mr. and Mrs. Coaldale Seniors and Sweethearts of the Year. Mary was also renowned among her acquaintances for her baking. Mary was predeceased by her husband and is survived by sons Richard (Anne), Donald (Pauline), Douglas, Robert (Lindamarie), David (Kayoko), Raymond (Mika), Linden (Lynette) and Edward (Monique); grandchildren Kristin, Alayne, Sara, Mikail, Robyn, Anna, Liam, Hana, Kai and Ema; and siblings Abe, Henry, Jake, David and Lena. She is predeceased by siblings Nettie, Margaret and George. Internment will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the COALDALE MENNONITE CEMETERY for close family only. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 20, 2014 the COALDALE MENNONITE CHURCH, 2316 17 Street, Coaldale, with Pastor Lillian Thompson, officiating. ROBERT ELLIOTT MOORS, beloved husband of 50 years of Jacqueline Moors of Lethbridge, passed away at Foothills Medical Centre on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the age of 72 years. He is the loving father of: Dan (Alana) Moors, Ian (Shannon) Moors, Deanna (Robert) deGruchy, and Amanda (Eric) Cimon, all of Lethbridge. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Logan, Davis, Kendra, Hailey, Izabella, Brittany, Thomas, Kinley, David, Tristan, Aliya, and EJ. Robert his survived by siblings: Ruth Rollingson, Eleanor Witbeck, John Moors, and Mary Dewar. He is predeceased by his parents John and Florence Moors, sister Margaret Adams, sister-in-law Kay Moors, and brothers-in-law: Roy Rollingson, Ted Witbeck, Pete Dewar, and Merrill Adams. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge, with Rev. Lois Punton officiating.

VICTOR MADELEY WARD, beloved husband of Patricia Ward of Lethbridge, passed away at Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the age of 83 years. He is the loving father of: Robert (Mariea) of Taber, Alan (Raina) of Edmonton, Tony of Cardston, Stephen (Jennifer) of Leduc, Ken (Juanita) of Lethbridge, David (Tara) of Lethbridge, and Victoria of Cardston. He is survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 1/2 great grandchildren; Julia Ward (sister), Edward (Pat) Ward (brother) of Coventry, England, along with several nieces and nephews. Victor is predeceased by his mother Roseann Thompson and his father Ernest Joseph Ward of Wolston, England, and his brother Eric, sister Joanne Ward; as well as granddaughter Marilyn (Alan & Raina) and great granddaughter Hailey (Tony).
Friends may meet the family on Thursday, November 20 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, or prior to the Funeral Service on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 Street South, Lethbridge, with Bishop Aaron Bridge officiating. Interment to follow in the Barnwell Cemetery. Donations in Victor¹s name may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one¹s choice.
